I have recently been considering rewatching Predator 2.
See, I came to the Predator Franchise kind of late (circa 2004) but instantly fell in love with the original Predator film at that point. I was so stoked on the film that I quickly purchased both the deluxe DVD set for Predator as well as a less deluxe copy of Predator 2.
Upon watching Predator 2 I was extremely disappointed. One strangely saving grace was that it did acknowledge a world wherein which a Predator might fight an Alien. And that might be a nod to a 4 book series of comics that came out in 1989. And I maybe had a whole ordeal with eBay and the USPS to acquire said comic books.
However, that’s all speculation. What I can tell you in good faith is that this mix has Alien references, a nod to the AVP comics and some songs I love. Please enjoy.
