Did I publicly call myself on the last write up regarding I'll Be Right Back Volume 1 specifically so that I would work on a followup? All signs point to yes. While I am far from a perfectionist a lot of my drive comes from iterating and re-iterating on something until it meets my arbitrary standard.
Many times when I'm making something I'll reach a point where I have created a completely serviceable item only to not be pleased by some aspect of it. This usually leads me to tear it apart and rebuild. On a personal project level I think this gets viewed as eccentric while on a professional level it is likely viewed as annoying (and/or a waste of time).
Furthermore, sometimes when working on a project I'll add something that I know will annoy me if I don't come back to it. It's like a bit of a bookmark to remind myself to fix/rework/expand/improve something. If I had to guess that's what I was doing here.
