This mixtape remained 70% complete for a really long time. When this happens I often try to shoehorn in songs that I like but then on playback everything feels wrong.
I assume everyone would pick up on this inauthenticity so it's important to wait until some type of divine intervention helps the pieces fall into place.
Divine intervention occurred when I was sitting at the optometrist waiting for my glasses to be adjusted and I heard a song I hadn't heard forever.
It's weird how that type of memory jog can make something as stupid as this make sense.
