So the reason this one is called "six" is because it started out as the 6th mixtape of the year. Then I shelved it and worked on other stuff. Then I re-worked it again and things still didn't seem right. It sat kind of forgotten but I knew there were some things about it that I really liked.
I didn't want to leave it unfinished forever and I also thought it should be finished this calendar year. So while my goal was never to make a New Years Eve mixtape maybe I just did. Is it good for a New Years Eve party? Absolutely not. However, none of these mixtapes are ever really party compatible.
I do think it'd be good for those weird hours were you determine if you're actually doing something tonight. Pop it on then and see where things go.
